Start with insulation

An attic only becomes a pleasant room if it isn’t too hot in summer or too cold in winter. Insulation is therefore the first step.

Use the space under the eaves

The low space under the sloping roof is ideal for cupboards. Sliding cupboards under the eaves give plenty of storage without losing floor space.

Light and atmosphere

A roof window brings in daylight. With light walls, a neat floor and warm lighting, the room feels bigger.
